This was kinda one of the more interesting gigs that’s come along. If you don’t know, City Walk is essentially an out door mall in Universal City sharing the same location as Universal Studios theme park.

First show of 2010 and what a good one! I love the Viper Room. I’ve played there a few times now so it’s more like homebase rather than some foreign venue. I love that it always sounds good in the crowd!! Below is video right before we hit the stage which was rad. Thanks to everyone that came out and shook their asses!!

This was actually our second show at Molly Malone’s off of Fairfax. It’s a really fun venue with great sound. The crowd likes to get a little rowdy too which is great!! It’s not too often we get a floor of girls dancing for our tunes, but it doesn’t get much better then that!

I went back to Dallas on vacation a few weeks ago and managed to pick up a gig while I was at it!! I was contacted by Ricky Stewart to be a part of his Coldheart Band and play a show @ the Curtain Club in Deep Ellum. I remember going to shows often in this rough neighborhood of downtown Dallas and it was definitely an amazing experience to go play for my friends and family.
I also snagged some video thanks to my old roommate John Rasbury! So if you weren’t around here’s the last song of the set!!
Thanks again to Ricky for getting me the opportunity to play in Dallas.

As a drummer the most important thing to keep in mind is time.
Time, time, time, time, time!!

This was a really fun show at Club Hell, in Hollywood. We set up a lot of this really evil looking lighting and blew out a fuse! Note to future band looking to book in Hollywood, those buildings are sometimes a little old and the fuse can blow pretty easily. Bring surge protectors so you don’t fry your gear!!
Playing in front of 7,000 is a really rad feeling. This gig was the kind of moment where you’re really worried that it isn’t coming to come off right, but when we hit the stage it’s a little too late to think much about that. We were slotted just before the fireworks show at the Coliseum in downtown LA on the 4th of July.
Good times!!
