Dave Goldberg is a professional drummer who wrote this article regarding the relationship between musicians and club/venue owners. I’ve thought about this relationship myself many times but Dave has framed it in such an elegant way I felt compelled to share his views as well. The article is Los Angeles-centric but I’m pretty sure we’ve all come across similar experiences regardless of our location.
